Savannah raised money again for the Port Washington Cancer Walk. Lilyan was her helper this year. She baked and baked cookies. She was so dedicated one night that we kissed her goodnight and left her in the kitchen cooking, she finished around 11:30 P.M. Dad sold them at work, and the girls walked door to door in Busha's neighborhood.
We went to the Cancer Walk, but as the storm clouds rolled in we called it a night, turned in the girls money and were pleased to learn as they counted it that she reached her goal of $100.00 raised! Good job girls, next year you will have to raise the stakes and shoot for $125.00. Keep up the good work for a great cause!!
