Iowa visit

We ended September with a visit to our friends in Iowa. It was a wonderful time and great to see our dear friends Dan and Danean. They have kids around the same age as ours so it is always a great time for the girls. Here Dad and Rebekah are playing together, and boy are they a couple of cooool cats;)

on a more sobering note....

Danean took me past some of the devastation from the floods in Iowa and it makes a person thankful for still having a dinner table to sit around, a warm bed to sleep in and a place to call home! Even though the T.V.'s are not reporting on the flooded areas any longer, and life goes on around us, I encourage all to continue praying for the lives that were affected by the flooding this year.
