How much fun when you "let go..and let them"

I know it is every mom's nightmare to let your kids paint, but let me tell you God has been working on me for some time to let go...and let them enjoy helping, learning and taking pride in a job well done. I really had a great time sitting back and supervising the kids paint a section of wall in Rebekah's room. It was truly great to include them in this process. The way there eyes lit up was enough to help me realize that including them in these tasks is well worth the "worry and agony" over spilled paint, or messed up paint jobs. Because lets face it.... these days are precious with our children and what's a little spilled paint compared to the memories you can make with them!! So....... "let go...and let them!!"
