With a home school group near Black Earth we went to a Nursing Home and met about 15 elderly to make cards with. They were such a joy to be around. Oh how they were just in love with the children. It is such a wonderful thing to be part of the elderly community. They need to see the faces of the little ones! It sure brings a sparkle to their eyes. the lady in this picture took to Rebekah so well. Every time Rebekah passed by she would say "ohhhh is she just a doll"! and laugh hysterically! Lilyan was a little shy, but by the time we were into the card making enough she enjoyed handing them out to the residents. It sure was fun to serve this way, and teach the girls that the elderly are so very important to take care of, and spend time with.
