This past weekend Joel, Lisa and the kids came to visit. It was a great time, despite the rainy weather. We managed to get a visit to the zoo in. Rebekah was so excited to see animals, as you all know she missed them when we took the trip to the museum. I believe her favorite animal was the big turtle they have. When we were watching him, he was eating a big leaf. Rebekah thought it was the coolest thing to see him "suck" it into his mouth with his tongue.
They have a new tree house type playground area that Jake, Lilyan and the little girls all enjoyed. It sure was fun! When we were playing we noticed this weird noise and right next to us were monkey's....they were sooo funny! They kept making this "whhhhooooop" "whooooooppp" sound over and over again till they got really loud and people started to laugh. Rebekah and I took a walk over to them, and she thought it was the greatest!
Savannah had a friend with at the zoo, so they were off on there own a little, it was nice for her. We went for ice cream and lunch at McD's after the zoo, and headed home tired out!!
