Lilyan has been finding a love for the kitchen. She has asked me several times in the last 2 weeks if she can "experiment" with a new recipe. I always allow my kids to do this, so long as they clean the mess up....moms standard way!!;-)
So, she created these green chewy, ummmm what shall we say.... cookies??? Even she would agree the garbage can enjoyed them more than she did LOL.
Then 2 days later she was ready to try again with the lessons she learned from the recipe before. She put her skills to the test, and came out with a pretty nice cake that the kids enjoyed. She did still learn that MORE sugar is not always better, and has expressed next time she would use less sugar ;-) good lesson for a kid to learn wouldn't you say LOL.
As you can see Rebekah is in the pictures with Lilyan, that is because she is Lily's assistant, and a chef in the making ;-)
